Judo player qualifies for the Asian Championship final in Thailand

Bangkok on April 25 / WAM / Bashirat Kerat qualified for our national Judo team to face Japan’s champion Fishero Kokuru in the final of the “52 kg” competitions in the Asian Championship, after defeating both the Tajikistan national team, Maria Narden, and the Indian team player, Dava Calbal, and the Uzbekistan hero Rafkinova.

The championship organized by the Thai Federation started, under the supervision of the International Federation, today in the Hall of the Conference and Exhibition Center in Bangkok, with the participation of 295 players and players at the individual level of 30 countries.

The “lightweight” competitions witnessed the loss of the player Naji Yazbek in front of the Japanese Tanaka Rooma, the first seed in the tournament of the “under 66 kg”, who was crowned with the Paris 2024 Olympics, despite the strong start in the preliminary round by skipping the South Korean champion Kim Zhang, and Narmenand also lost a statement from the Iranian champion Abu al -Fadl Mahmoudi in “weight under 66 kg”.

Our team continues to participate in the championship tomorrow, running two “light -light” weights, where the player Mohamed Yazbek is waiting for the winner of the champion of the Tajikistan team Chamordov Mills and the Sri Lanka player Shamara Ribala, in “Weight under 73 kg”, while Karim Abdel Latif, the winner of the champion of the Chinese national team Lee Jinang, and his counterpart, faces the player of the Kyrgyzing national national team.
