2.44 billion dirhams net profits "Abu Dhabi Commercial" In the first quarter

Abu Dhabi, April 29/ WAM/ Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announced a strong profit in the first quarter of 2025, with a net profit after the tax, which amounted to 2.446 billion dirhams.

According to the financial results announced today, the bank recorded a remarkable growth in profits over more than three consecutive years, “15 consecutive quarter” before the tax was deducted, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year to reach 2.907 billion dirhams.
The income from operational operations increased 9% compared to the same period last year, mainly driven by a significant increase in income without interest by 26%, through all basic work, and the increase in interest income by 3%.
The cost to income is improved by 170 basis points compared to the same period last year to reach 29.2% in the first quarter.
The operational costs decreased 6% compared to the fourth quarter of last year.
The total assets increased by 14% compared to the same period last year and by 4% compared to the fourth quarter of the year 2024 to reach 680 billion dirhams.
The loans and predecessors grew by 13% “41 billion dirhams” compared to the same period last year and by 3% “9 billion dirhams” compared to the fourth quarter of the year 2024 to reach 359 billion dirhams, while customer deposits increased by 15% “58 billion dirhams” compared to the same period last year and 5% “21 billion dirhams” compared to the fourth quarter of the year 2024 to reach 442 billion dirhams.
Customer deposits in the current accounts and savings accounts reached 198 billion dirhams at the end of the first quarter of the year 2025, an increase of 10% “18 billion dirhams” compared to the same period in the year 2024 and an increase of 6% “12 billion dirhams” compared to the fourth quarter of the year 2024, where 45% of the total customer deposits constituted.
The percentage of capital adequacy improved to 16.07% after it was 16.13% by the end of the year 2024, and the percentage of regular property rights from the first part reached 12.59% compared to 12.56% by the end of the year 2024.
