"Emirati parliamentary Division" Participate in the Arab Parliamentary Union conference
Algeria, April 30 / WAM / The Parliamentary Division Group of the Federal National Council in the Arab Parliamentary Union, headed by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Hamid Al -Tayer, First Vice President of the Council, participates in the work of the thirty -eighth conference of the Federation, which will be held in the Algerian capital – Algeria, during the period from 2 to 4 May 2025, in the presence of the heads of councils and heads of Arab parliamentary delegations.
The Emirati Parliamentary Division in the Federation includes in its membership, His Excellency Aisha Rashid Litem, President of the Group, Hilal Mohammed Al -Kaabi, Vice President of the Group, Sheikh Saeed bin Surur Al Sharqi, Hashaa Yasser Al -Afari, Aisha Ibrahim Al -Marri, Salem Rashid Al -Matoul, Sultan bin Yaqoub Al -Zaabi, members of the Council, Afra Rashid Al -Basti, Assistant Secretary -General for Parliamentary Communication.
The delegation of the Emirati parliamentary Division will participate in the meeting of the 38th session of the Federation’s Executive Committee, while His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al -Tayer will participate in the consultative meeting of the heads of parliaments, and in the plenary session of the conference, and delivers the speech of the Emirati parliamentary division on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Federal National Council.
Participants in the conference will also inform two reports of the presidency and the Secretary -General since the thirty -sixth conference, which include and implement the decisions and the activities of the Secretariat, and the reports of the exceptional courses of the Federation’s executive committee will be approved.
The delegation will participate in the meetings of the permanent committees, which is the Political Affairs and Parliamentary Relations Committee, the Social Affairs, Women, Children and Youth Committee, and the Palestine Committee, and the hosting of the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Federation will be discussed, and the formulation committee will be formed.
During the meetings of the three permanent committees, the heads of the committees and decision -makers will be elected, and the political and parliamentary decisions concerned with each committee will be prepared, in addition to reviewing the final account of the year 2024 AD for approval, the project of the work program and the Federation’s budget project for the year 2025 AD, and the honoring of the winners of the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award.
