The UAE hosts one of the Asian Cup qualifiers, 23 years old

The UAE will host one of the groups in the qualifiers for the Asian U -23 Cup, to be held in Saudi Arabia 2026, after the AFC approval of the request made by the Emirates Football Association, where the qualifiers will be held for the period from the first to the ninth of next September.

The qualifiers will witness the participation of 44 teams that will be distributed to eleven groups, so that each group includes 4 teams, and the lot will take place next May 29 in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, in the presence of the AFC officials and representatives of the participating teams.

The UAE had achieved great successes in all the events it hosted, most notably the World Cup FIFA World Cup, Club World Cup, the 2019 Asian Cup finals, and other events.
