Due to its Asian connection, the match between Shabab Al-Ahly and Khor Fakkan in the UAE League was postponed

Emirates Today learned that the UAE Professional League decided to postpone the match between Shabab Al-Ahly and Khor Fakkan in the Professional Football League competitions, to be held on April 29 at 7:20 pm at Rashid Stadium, instead of its previous date, due to the Dubai Knights’ qualification to the semi-finals of the AFC Elite Champions League.

The decision comes to give Al-Ahly youth the opportunity to prepare for the Kalba match after facing the Japanese team Machida Zelvia, which will be held tomorrow, Tuesday (20:15 UAE time), in a decisive step towards reaching the continental final.

The 23rd round matches will be held on April 23 and 24. On Thursday, April 23, Al Sharjah will face Al Wahda at Sharjah Stadium, and Kalba will face Baniyas at Kalba Stadium, in addition to the match between Al Bataeh and Al Ain at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium. On Friday, April 24, Al Dhafra will meet Ajman at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Wasl will host Dibba at Zabeel Stadium, while Al Nasr will face Al Jazira at Al Maktoum Stadium.

The match between Shabab Al-Ahly and Khor Fakkan will be held on Wednesday, April 29, at Rashid Stadium, on its new date.

In round 24, which will be held on May 5 and 6, Tuesday, May 5, will witness confrontations between Ajman and Al Jazira at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, Kalba versus Khor Fakkan at Kalba Stadium, Al Dhafra versus Baniyas at Baniyas Stadium, and Dibba versus Al Bataeh at Dibba Stadium.

The tour will continue on Wednesday, May 6, when Al-Wahda will meet Al-Wasl at Al-Nahyan Stadium, Sharjah will meet Al-Ain at Sharjah Stadium, while the tour will conclude with a strong confrontation that brings together Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Nasr at Rashid Stadium.

These amendments come at a crucial time in the season, with the Shabab Al-Ahly team tied to the AFC Champions League, and also the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup final.
