The National Child Development Academy participates in "Abu Dhabi Book"

Abu Dhabi on May 1 / WAM / The National Academy for Childhood Development participates in the thirty -fourth session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, in confirmation of its role in enhancing society’s awareness of the importance of childhood development as the cornerstone of building future generations, which is reflected through its qualitative programs such as vocational diploma approved in childhood development, training programs and continuing education designed to develop the skills of care providers and parents, with a special focus on Arabic, national identity, and Emirati heritage.

The Academy’s pavilion includes a corner dedicated to displaying the stories of students’ anecdotal creations, in addition to a children’s area that offers 26 interactive workshops, varying between drawing, coloring, Arabic letters, handicrafts related to the world of storytelling, in addition to a special corner for storytelling, hosting 26 sessions aimed at stimulating imagination, listening and expression skills for children.

The Academy also provides the “Lighting of the Parents” series, which includes 80 awareness -raising sessions for parents and various members of society, under the supervision of a group of lecturers, as it addresses multiple topics in the fields of children’s development and care, family communication, positive education skills, and building a supportive environment for children’s growth and proper development.

Dr. Mira Al -Kaabi, head of the National Academy for Childhood Development, said that participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair reflects the academy’s commitment to its societal role in supporting childhood, and its belief in the importance of investing in this vital stage to build generations capable of contributing to the national development process, especially since we always seek, through our efforts and programs, to provide an educational and interactive environment for children and their families, which rise to their capabilities and meet Their cognitive and educational aspirations.
