Dubai, February 26 / WAM / Dubai Collections Nights returns for its fourth edition with an expanded program extending over a period of 14 days across multiple locations throughout the city, with Al Safa Arts and Design Library being the main center for the events.

The events are in line with the Dubai Collections 2026 theme, “Mapping Memory, Landscapes in Transformation, and Geometries of Imagination,” and aim to bring the audience closer to the diverse narratives, aesthetic styles, and cultural visions embodied by the first institutional collection of modern and contemporary art in Dubai.

The edition opened with the “In Ta’alof” exhibition under the supervision of curator Jumana Abbas and the participation of an elite group of artists from the region, including Emirati artist Hassan Sharif, artist Samia Halabi, artist Rana Begum, and sculptor Shawqi Shokini, who presented a contemporary reading of abstraction and geometries as tools for reimagining place and memory.

The program includes limited visits to the studios of artists living and working in Dubai, including Hazem Harb and Saif Muhaisen, in addition to tours of independent artistic initiatives and institutional groups.

Mona Faisal Al Gurg, Executive Director of the Museums and Heritage Sector at the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, confirmed that Dubai Collections Nights represent a platform to enhance dialogue about artistic patronage, acquisition and preservation of cultural memory.

In turn, Benedetta Guion, Executive Director of Art Dubai, pointed out that the expanded program allows the public to interact directly with the works and ideas that contribute to shaping the artistic scene in the city.

The events include dialogue sessions and interactive workshops for different age groups that enhance the concepts of artistic composition and visual narration and consolidate the presence of art in the societal and cultural space in Dubai.
