Abu Dhabi, February 28 / WAM / Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education, confirmed that the UAE Education Day embodies an extension of a well-established national approach that places education at the top of the country’s priorities, and reflects a leadership vision that considers human building the foundation for the comprehensive development process, and a starting point for creating a more prosperous and pioneering future for the UAE.
Her Excellency explained that the UAE Education Day embodies a strategic vision that consolidates the centrality of education in the UAE’s development process, as it is the means to preserve national gains and enhance the country’s competitiveness and leadership in various sectors.
She emphasized that the teacher represents the cornerstone of the educational system, with the lofty message he carries and a pivotal role in directing energies and refining skills.
She pointed to the pivotal role of both the family and society in supporting the state’s directions in the education sector, as they are active partners in laying the foundations of a national educational system capable of consolidating the UAE’s values and national identity for future generations.
