George Samir: Intensive preparations and field visits to the headquarters of the African Chess Championship in Cairo
Professor George Samir, Vice President of the Egyptian Chess Federation, said that Egypt’s preparations for the African Chess Championship are going in full swing in order to end the details of Cairo hosting the continental event that takes place from 12 to 21 May this year with the participation of about 20 countries and is held under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports and with the support of the African and International Federation of the game.
