There is an error in FIFA’s decision, which we are working to correct with the competent authorities

Baniyas Club issued an official statement regarding the decision issued by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to prevent the club from registering players for three periods.

The Baniyas Club said in the statement: “The Baniyas Club clarifies what was discussed and suspended the club from registering and registering for three contractual periods, starting from December 19 of this year. We confirm that there is an error in the decision issued by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, and the Legal Department is currently working to take the necessary measures to correct this error in coordination with the competent authorities.
