The American National Security Adviser leaves a position … and Rubio is a substitute for him

According to US media reports, White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz resigned from his post Thursday, at a time when members of the US administration are criticizing against the background of leaking information about military strikes and mistakenly participating with a journalist.
Waltz will be the first senior official to leave his position during the second term of Donald Trump.

Mike Waltz is subjected to harsh criticism, after The Atlantic magazine revealed in March that its editor -in -chief has made a mistake to a chat on the “Segenal” application, during which officials, including Defense Minister Beit Higseth and Walz, discussed the issue of air strikes implemented on March 15.
Trump appointed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio as a national security adviser to the White House instead of Waltz, in addition to his work on the Foreign Ministry.
