المملكة: A new decision from “Zakat and Tax” regarding the goods mentioned in the seaports

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has announced mandatory to provide manifest and customs statement in advance of the goods received through the seaports starting from October 29, 2025 AD, so that importers and navigational agents must submit the manifest and customs statement of the goods before they arrive in the ports to prepare the completion of pre -clearance procedures.
The spokesman for the commission, Hammoud Al -Harbi, stressed the importance and need to adhere to the submission of the manifest, the customs statement and the necessary documents for import before the missionaries arrive at the marine customs outlets.

He pointed out that this procedure is a basic step that contributes to accelerating customs scannings, reducing import costs on importers, avoiding violations resulting from delaying the submission of required documents, enhancing the flexibility of customs processes and supporting the logistical supply chain.
Al -Harbi added: We urge all the agents, importers, and customs loyal, to adhere to the pre -submitting controls for the goods received through the maritime outlets, which include verifying the validity of the required documents such as the shipping and bills plate, and completing all the necessary requirements from the relevant authorities, especially for goods that need prior approvals before being wiped.

He stated that the authority issued pre -submission controls for the goods received from the seaports, which includes a detailed explanation of the pre -submitting stages and the procedures that the importer must follow to ensure the smoothness of the customs wiping process and achieve compliance.
He pointed out that adhering to these procedures supports the “Wiping within two hours” initiative, which aims to enable the completion of customs scanning procedures in record time once all requirements are met, indicating that this initiative comes within the framework of the authority’s strategy to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision by enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness as a global logistical center.

He stressed that the authority is working closely with 26 government agencies representing customs scan, to ensure the smoothness and efficiency of customs procedures, and to provide integrated services that enhance international trade and raise the Kingdom’s position in global competitiveness.
