المملكة: With wide international participation … discussing the “Future of Professional Safety” tomorrow in Riyadh

The work of the International Conference on Occupational Safety and Health in its seventh edition, under the auspices of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al -Rajhi.
And that during the period from 4 to 6 May 2025, under the slogan “The Future of Occupational Safety and Health”, with the wide participation of His Highness and Excellencies, and a number of experts and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom.
In its seventh edition, the conference discusses six main axes dealing with sustainability strategies in the work environment, digitization and modern technology in occupational safety and health, as well as the axis of safety economics, the future of research and innovation, the future of professional challenges, human behaviors and safety culture, in a context that reflects the Kingdom’s orientation towards developing work environments and achieving professional standards that keep pace with international best practices.

Global benefit from the Kingdom’s experience

The conference aims to review and exchange local and international experiences in the field of occupational safety and health, raise awareness in work environments, and promote preventive culture, as well as highlighting national efforts within the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
It also constitutes an opportunity to highlight the technical and modern trends, support specialized research and studies, and transfer the Kingdom’s legislative and organizational experience to the global level, in addition to supporting the major projects launched by the Kingdom in this field.
The conference includes a number of accompanying events, including specialized scientific sessions, 60 workshops, in addition to 20 dialogue sessions, and the International Hakathon for Occupational Safety and Health, where they review 30 projects before the final jury.
On the sidelines of the conference, an accompanying exhibition will be held in which a group of relevant parties and sectors will participate, and a number of qualitative agreements between local and international bodies will be signed, and the launch of a group of new initiatives that enhance the path of developing the professional safety system in the Kingdom.
The conference represents a prominent station within the national efforts aimed at developing work environments in various sectors, and contributes to the consolidation of a culture of safety, the empowerment of national competencies, and the enhancement of the Kingdom’s presence on the map of regional and international professional work.
