المملكة: Repeated bullying in schools decreased to 2% and general satisfaction among students by 92.9%

The General Authority for Statistics revealed positive indicators in the education environment in the Kingdom, which showed a significant decline in the rates of frequent bullying inside schools, as it did not exceed 2% among all age groups, in exchange for a remarkable increase in the level of student satisfaction with their public life by 92.94%.
The results of the survey indicated that 95.6% of older students (from 15 to 19 years) were not exposed in any way or rarely bullying, compared to 97.7% for the youngest age group (from 8 to 14 years).
She pointed out that the data showed that 86.15% of the largest category has not been exposed to bullying during the past twelve months, while the percentage reached 81.80% for the smaller category, while the rates of “rare” exposure ranged between 11.59% for the oldest and 13.78% for the youngest.
Statistics confirmed that repeated bullying rates, whether weekly, monthly or annual, decreased to below 2%, which reflects a remarkable improvement in the educational environment and the outputs of awareness and psychological support programs directed to students.
On the psychological and social aspect, the survey indicated that 92.94% of students express their general satisfaction with their lives, by 93.34% for females and 92.54% for males, in an indication of a stable school and living environment, and complementary efforts by teachers and parents in supporting students’ stability and enhancing their psychological and social well -being.
