"Muslim sages" Organize a symposium "Confronting Islamophobia" At the American Arab Book Fair

Michigan, May 5/ WAM/ The Council of Muslim Elders, during his participation in the first edition, organized by the American International Book Fair, Derborn, in the US state of Michigan, a symposium entitled “Confronting Islamophobia: Building Bridges through Dialogue and Understanding”.

Dr. Muqtadir Khan, Professor of Political Science at Dilayer University and author of the book “Islam and the Right Governing: Political Philosophy on Charity”, Professor Mohamed Hassan Khalil, Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Islamic Studies Program at Michigan State State University, and Professor Morgan Shahabli, Chair of the Fujuli Chair for Spiritual Studies and Co -Chairman for University Studies in the Department of Religious Studies at Michigan State University Government.

Dr. Muqtadir Khan presented an in -depth analysis of the role of dialogue and cultural exchange in addressing Islamophobia.

While Professor Mohamed Hassan Khalil focused on providing an overview of the phenomenon of Islamophobia and its impact on society, stressing the importance of the initiatives of the Muslim Wise Council in its treatment.

Professor Morgan Shahaibli pointed to the influential role of the media and cinema in establishing or dismantling stereotypes from Muslims, stressing the importance of enhancing communication and dialogue between the followers of different cultures and religions.
