“Emirates Cricket” crowns the Asian Cup for the Western Region U -16

The UAE Cricket team, under 16 years yesterday evening, crowned the Asian Cup for the Western Cricket Region after its victory over its Kuwaiti brother, by 145 points, at the conclusion of the tournament hosted by Qatar, over the past week, with the participation of 6 teams, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and next to the hero team.

In the closing match, the UAE team achieved 317 points during nine runs, thanks to the team star Ayan, who alone scored 143 points from 131 balls, including 15 quadruple and 4 hexags to win the match and the championship cup.

Zayed Abbas, a member of the Emirates Cricket Council and the official spokesman for the Emirates Cricket Council, congratulated the heroic team that won the cup without loss and all members of the council and all those in charge of the game in the country, considering that what achieved a new achievement and a real translation of the efforts aimed at building a distinguished generation of players who are able to honor the Emirates continental, international and global during the coming years.

At the end of the tournament, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Thani, President of the Qatar Federation for the game, honored the winners and stars.
