Dubai, May 7 / WAM / The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, held an expanded meeting at the program’s headquarters in the Emirate of Dubai, in the presence of members of the path from officials of the housing agencies and local departments in the country, as part of the tasks of the “Housing Path” team of the Emirates Council for Infrastructure and Housing.

The meeting comes within the framework of coordination and integration efforts at the national level to develop the housing system.
During the meeting, which was chaired by His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Al -Mansouri, Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, a discussion of ways to enhance integration between the housing bodies in the state, and the review of the developments of initiatives and strategic projects concerned with developing the housing sector, contributed to achieving the aspirations of the rational leadership, meeting the needs of citizens, and providing ways to live and well -being for them and their families.
The meeting dealt with a number of major axes, which included the development of housing policies by reviewing the final outcomes of a unified national population strategy, improving the experience of customers, and taking advantage of modern technologies in accelerating the completion of projects, in addition to starting coordination and preparing to host the Gulf housing meetings next year.
For his part, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Al -Mansoori said that this meeting comes in an embodiment of the UAE’s vision in uniting national efforts to achieve housing stability for citizens, and to build sustainable residential societies that meet the needs of the present and keep pace with the aspirations of the future.
He added that the meeting is an important step towards enhancing coordination and unifying efforts between the various authorities concerned with the housing sector, which contributes to achieving the state’s targets in providing a suitable housing for the citizen, within an integrated and sustainable environment. Quality in this vital sector.
He said, “We are working through the Emirates Council for Infrastructure and Housing to consolidate a unified and efficient housing system, characterized by efficiency and flexibility, and keep pace with the aspirations of citizens and are consistent with the state’s future directions.”
His Excellency stressed that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, in cooperation with its federal and local parties, is continuing to support and empower the national housing system.
