المملكة: With the participation of 45 trainees .. “Al -Ahsa Girl” concludes two studies to qualify women’s scout leaders

The Al -Ahsa Girl Association for Family Development organized two specialized scout studies within its programs aimed at the leadership qualification of the scouts. The studies were held at the King Abdulaziz Scout Center, with the participation of 45 trainees from various sectors interested in scout work and the development of women leaders in it.

The basics of scout work

The association stated that the training programs included the “initial study of the wooden badge”, which was led by the leader, Manayer Al -Dabbas, and participated in the presentation of training leaders Arwa Al -Ghamdi and Mayada Al -Masoudi.
She explained that this study focused on providing posts with the basics of scouting work and developing the necessary leadership skills for them in their scouting career.
The association added that it was held in parallel “the founding study of the wooden badge”, which was led by the leader Nada Al -Sadiq from the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, and participated in the presentation of its axes, the training leaders of Ahoud al -Shammari, Sarah Al -Otaibi, Ahlam Al -Anzi and Samira Andgani.

Preparation of the scout leaders

The association stated that this study dealt with the advanced aspects of preparing the scout leaders, and worked to enhance their capabilities in the areas of managing and organizing various scouting activities.
The Al -Ahsa Girl Association confirmed that both studies included integrated training programs, which were keen to combine the theoretical aspect and practical applications.
This came with the aim of developing the knowledge and skills of the leaders participating effectively, providing the necessary support for the women’s scout work process in the region, and enabling women to perform their leadership role in this vital field.
