المملكة: Directing health facilities to report immediate

The Saudi Health Council issued a directive to health facilities in the Kingdom, the necessity of activating the twenty -first article of the General Authority for the state’s system on the funds of minors and their as well, issued by a former royal decree.
Doctors, hospital directors and authorities concerned with immediate reporting of the cases of deficiency or loss of eligibility resulting from mental disabilities.
He explained that this procedure comes in implementation of the royal decree issued in Rabi` al -Awwal in the year 1427 AH, which expressly stipulates that the doctors, hospital directors, as well as the administrative and judicial authorities, must notify the relevant body within a maximum period of three working days from the moment of the state of deficiency or loss of eligibility during their practice of their work.

Conditions

The Health Council explained that this procedure in particular targets the pathological conditions that affect the cognitive abilities of the patient, such as people with mental mental illnesses, mental disabilities, dementia -affecting diseases of the perception of an average or higher degree, and mentally retarded, in addition to those with long coma, which requires the need for a state on their money and affairs to protect them.
And that this confirmation comes within the framework of the council’s keenness to ensure the application of regulations that protect the rights of these individuals and protect their money and affairs.
