The launch of the “Health Communication and Empowerment of Contemporary Communities” conference in “Cairo Media”
The Faculty of Information at Cairo University announced the launch of the activities of its thirtieth international conference under the title & LDQUO; Health Communication and Empowerment of Contemporary Communities & RDQUO; in the presence of a group of academics, health experts, media professionals, digital content makers from Egypt and the world, under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, and supervised by Dr. Thuraya Al -Badawi, Dean of the Faculty of Information and President of the Conference, Dr. Wissam Nasr, the Vice -Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and Secretary General of the Conference, and with the participation of Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary -General of the Arab Universities Union, and the former Minister of Higher Education, in a clear embodiment of the keenness of Arab academic and health institutions to advance the awareness of societies and empower them, in addition to a number of senior officials of the ministries of higher education and health, along with international academics from Nigeria and India And China, Brazil and the UAE. The elitist discourse with complex terms avoided, stressing the importance of turning the citizen into a healthy, educational content product and not being satisfied with receiving content.
