Belarus officials: Project "North Beach" A pivotal step to enhance Emirati -Belarusian relations
Minsk on May 8 / WAM / Officials from the Republic of Belarus emphasized the importance of the International Exhibition Center that was opened today in the Belarusian capital Minsk, with Emirati investment support, within the “Northern Beach” project, which explores new horizons to consolidate trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, in a pivotal move that contributes to creating constructive partnerships between business community in the two friendly countries.
His Excellency Vladimir Kochrev, mayor of the capital, Minsk, said in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the new center is one of the most prominent facilities in the city, as it combines the latest technologies and advanced architectural standards, and allows organizing activities from various sectors, explaining that this achievement is a model for investment and economic integration between the two countries, and opens the way for more joint projects that serve development goals And the strategy for both parties.
His Excellency added that cooperation with the Emirati side continues its growth supported by the flow of investments in development projects, stressing their keenness to implement all the agreed plans without obstacles within the UAE projects, as Minsk is committed to guaranteeing the highest levels of operation and efficiency in all joint projects.
He pointed out that they are currently working on implementing the “Northern Beach” project with the Emirates, as part of an agreed action plan between the two sides, explaining that the project includes sports, educational, cultural and residential facilities integrated with the picturesque nature in Minsk, and in turn supports the targets of sustainable development in the two countries by opening broad prospects for cooperation, including tourism.
For his part, His Excellency Dmitry Pantos, Chairman of the State Military Industries Committee in the Republic of Belarus, President of the Belarusian party in the joint UAE -Belarusian committee, stressed that the opening of the exhibition and the upcoming smart economic city project reflects the depth of strategic interaction and cooperation between the UAE and Belarus, pointing out that the prospects for cooperation between the two countries are wide and promising.
His Excellency said that it is scheduled to be held at the center from 21 to 24 May, a defense industry exhibition, “Melix”, which enhances the status of Belarus as a permanent station for economic and knowledge events, noting that the center will establish the position of Minsk as a regional and global center for major specialized events.
He stressed that bilateral relations succeeded in building integrated partnerships characterized by depth and extensive prospects, as Emirati -Belarusian partnerships vary in the sectors of industry, culture, medicine and new economies that constitute an exceptional stage of effective cooperation.
