Learn the required vaccines before Hajj and when to be taken before leaving the state

The Emirates Health Services Corporation called on all those wishing to perform the Hajj rituals this year 1446 AH/2025AD, to adhere to taking the required and recommended preventive vaccines in a timely manner, and preventive measures that contribute greatly to reducing health risks while performing the Hajj rituals.
The Foundation explained that the required vaccines before the Hajj include:
• Mens
• seasonal influenza vaccine
• The Kofid-19 vaccine for some of the most vulnerable groups, namely:
• The elderly (over 56 years old)
• and those with chronic heart disease
• Pregnant women
• Patients with birth weakening or caused by inhibitors or cancer
• Patients with kidney failure
• People with chronic respiratory or nervous diseases
Genetic blood patients such as sickle cell anemia and snowmia
She added that the vaccinations recommended include:
Cofide 19 vaccine for all pilgrims.
Vision vaccine (for 65 years or more or for those who are 19 years or more and suffers from chronic diseases).
Time to take the vaccinations:
The Emirates Health Services Corporation stated that it is preferable to take vaccinations before the travel date for a period of not less than 10 days so that the body can build the necessary immunity against diseases, confirming the vaccinations and preventive measures before the Hajj contributes greatly to reducing health risks while performing the pilgrimage.
