Abu Dhabi, May 9 / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Vice President of the UAE Olympic Committee, confirmed that the Emirates Football Association headed by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan succeeded in organizing the final of the President of the State Cup for the President of the State of Football this evening at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, at the highest level of professionalism, in line with the importance and value of the event.
He said that the Al -Ahly youth team presented a big match in an exceptional season, by setting successful plans, attracting the distinguished technical staff, and the elements capable of achieving achievements, noting at the same time that the Sharjah team presented a good level in the final against Al -Ahly youth, and that it is able to return strong in the next stage, and to compete for the AFC Champions League 2.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi described the decision to contract with Romanian coach Olario Cosmin to lead our first national football team, as a correct decision that came in his time, given the great experience of this coach with Emirati football, and his ability to prepare players to run in the next stage in the qualifiers for the World Cup 2026.
