The head of state receives a phone call from the Syrian President
Abu Dhabi, May 11/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, today received a phone call from His Excellency Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, during which they discussed brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance their joint cooperation for the good of their two brotherly peoples.
The two sides also reviewed a number of regional issues and developments in common concern and exchanged views on them. During the call, His Highness affirmed the UAE’s keenness to support everything that achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people towards stability and development and a future of security and prosperity.
For his part, His Excellency President Ahmed Al -Sharaa expressed his thanks and appreciation for the position of the UAE supporting the Syrian people, the stability of Syria, its sovereignty, and the integrity of its territory, appreciating the role of the UAE in pushing the region’s security path and stability, especially in light of the escalating challenges facing the region.
