Kuwait announces its response to a wave of hostile air targets
Kuwait, March 10 / WAM / Kuwait announced that its armed forces responded, since dawn today, Monday, to a wave of hostile air targets that penetrated the country’s airspace.
The Kuwaiti News Agency “KUNA” quoted the official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, as saying in a statement that the air defense systems detected two hostile ballistic missiles in the south of the country and were able to intercept and destroy them, in addition to destroying an enemy drone.
He stressed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and confront everything that aims to destabilize the country’s security in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
