Abdullah bin Zayed and the German Foreign Minister discuss in Nicosia the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile attacks on the UAE and countries in the region

Nicosia, March 10, 2017 – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Johann Vadifhol, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the sidelines of a working visit by His Highness to the Cypriot capital, Nicosia.
During the meeting, they discussed the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and a number of brotherly and friendly countries, and their effects on the security and stability of the region and international peace and security.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Johann Vadevoll also reviewed the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and the Federal Republic of Germany.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that Emirati-German relations are witnessing continuous growth based on a common vision to enhance stability and support paths of development and prosperity, noting that the development witnessed by this partnership reflects the strength of the ties that bring together the two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al-Hajri, Minister of State, and His Excellency Abdullah Al-Alaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Affairs.
