The start of the seventh edition of the young Arab media leadership program

Abu Dhabi, May 13 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Development Affairs and Families of the Martyrs, President of the Arab Youth Center, the center announced today the launch of the activities of the seventh edition of the “Young Arab Media Leaders” program, one of the largest young media training programs at the region, which continues in its new session in establishing its position as a leading initiative to refine the skills of Arab youth in the media sector With the participation of 55 young men and women representing 18 Arab countries.
His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE continues to see its wise leadership, investing in promising energies and talents in various fields, especially the media sector, pointing to the importance of supporting and qualifying young people with specialized training programs that enable them to distinguish and create solutions that serve their societies.
His Highness added that the UAE, thanks to its motivating environment, has become a regional and international center for media and a destination for distinguished competencies, praising the role of young media professionals in providing a positive image that reflects the originality of the Arab cultural identity, and enhances the messages of tolerance and communication between peoples.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Center, said that the current version has chosen the “community media” a major title for it, in order to emphasize the role he plays in shaping the awareness of societies and responsibility that it bears by influencing people’s lives, and youth are the main pillar and the driving force of the development and development of societies and enhancing their fabric and cohesion and linking their language and identity.
His Excellency added that the program presented throughout its sessions an opportunity to link young people in an important stage from the beginning of their career with the reality of the media labor market and the acquisition of skills from experts and listening to the experiences of decision makers, and today we are proud of the presence of hundreds of its affiliates within the work teams of various Arab and international media institutions and platforms; Today, it is an annual occasion to link young talents with opportunities within a comprehensive vision of the Arab Youth Center to continue to empower and build the capabilities of youth, the largest and most important supplier in the region.
The activities of the program include in its current version an integrated set of specialized courses and workshops, field visits to major media institutions and a number of conferences and events, in addition to the opportunities provided by the program to meet many influential media and social figures, and the leaders of the media sector and decision makers.
He will offer extensive courses on digital media skills, content industry, and development media, in addition to axes related to artificial intelligence techniques and their impact on the future of the media.
The program focuses in its current version on the societal role of the media, the importance of harnessing its tools in supporting social and humanitarian initiatives, transferring stories that cultivate hope and make impact, and enhance youth efforts in serving societies.
The program has partnerships and support from a group of media partners and academics, who work with the center hand in hand to train and rehabilitate 55 young men and women, and open opportunities for them to build professional professional marches in various media specialties, and support their leadership in their fields within the work teams of those institutions, as well as their qualification to launch their own media projects through digital platforms, which have become a conscious youth vote, He expresses his societies and is related to his humanitarian and developmental issues.
The seventh edition of the “Young Arab Media Leaders” program comes to present new Arab narratives based on reviving hope in the hearts of youth, diversity, and the real contribution to building a more coherent and sustainable future.
The activities of the program extend over three weeks in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, within a creative environment that allows the participants many opportunities to learn and apply through all available and important capabilities to build the best generation of young media professionals.
