"Mohammed bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation" The second workshop is launched for the Dubai International Writing Program in Tunisia

Dubai, May 13 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Corporation for Knowledge is organized by the second workshop of the Dubai International Writing Program, one of the most prominent cognitive initiatives of the institution in Tunisia under the title “The Technical Drawing Workshop for Children’s Stories” and under the supervision of Dr. Wafaa Thabet Al -Mazghni, creative writing coach and professor of English language and communication at the Higher Institute for Technology Studies in Sfaqis.
The workshop comes within the framework of continuing the program’s efforts towards supporting young talents and within a series of workshops aimed at preparing a creative generation in the field of children’s literature.
The workshop was launched with the participation of 10 creators from the book and continues until next July, an introduction to the participants of 12 intensive attendance workshops targeting those interested in the literature of the child from young Tunisians and Arabs who have passion for writing and preparing to develop literary skills in this stores in line with the language of the times and preserves Arab originality.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwairb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, said that these pioneering initiatives embody the Foundation’s vision in supporting Arab literary productions in general and encouraging creativity in the field of child literature in particular and based on our belief that investing in young energies and directing them towards specialized writing fields represents the cornerstone of building an Arab knowledge society capable of keeping pace with global transformations. Under the umbrella of the Dubai International Writing Program to strengthen its pioneering role in empowering youth and enriching the knowledge scene at the local and global levels.
The workshop aims to make an effective contribution to enrich the Arab child’s library with a modern and innovative content that fits the child of the twenty -first century and balances renewal and preserving cultural identity. The workshop includes many diverse axes that cover the methods of creative writing, the method of narration directed to the child and the formulation of stories in proportion to modern cognitive and cultural variables.
The Dubai International Writing Program continues its noble endeavors towards supporting literary talents in the Arab world and encouraging them by enhancing writing skills and developing the capabilities of young writers and providing them with opportunities to spread their literary works to contribute to the formation of the new generation of writers and creative translators and opening new horizons for the interaction of Arab scientific and literary products with their global counterparts.
