Lionel Messi, captain of the Argentine national team and Inter Miami star, is preparing to tell the world about his favorite goal among the many goals he scored during his career.

Messi, the winner of the Golden Ball Award for the best player in the world eight times and the winner with his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, confirmed today, Tuesday, that he will reveal his favorite goal on May 22, provided that the image of this goal is converted into a work of art that will be sold in a charitable auction.

Messi will face difficulty in choosing his favorite goal, as he scored more than 800 goals for his club and his country during his long career with Argentina, Barcelona, ​​Paris Saint -Germain and Inter Miami.

Messi and the artist Rafik Anadolu will sign the artwork, which will be revealed by Christie’s auctions in New York on June 11, knowing that the auction will be closed on July 25.

Messi said: “Choosing only one goal is very difficult, each goal is special in his own way, and some of them are very important, and he brings to mind memories that cannot be forgotten, but choosing the preferred goal for the first time, and with the aim of making this unique project, it deserves all this trouble, there is a strong goal behind it, and I am very happy to participate in it.”
