He said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, during the second day of the summit at the Dubai World Trade Center, that the summit seeks to formulate axes and practical data that contribute to developing police services around the world, pointing out that the outputs are based on the latest findings of police technologies, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence, administrative integration and smart security communication, in a way that enhances future institutional work and keeps pace with transformations Fasting security.
He explained that the current version of the summit witnesses the participation of more than 300 international speakers and experts, in addition to a group of decision makers in the security sector, to discuss the most prominent security challenges, stressing that the UAE has become a global model in consolidating the concepts of security, foresight of the future and the leadership of innovation.
He added that the conference brings together police leaders, security experts and strategic thinkers from more than 100 countries and an enforcement agency of law and international organization, along with more than 200 international specialized companies, with the aim of exchanging best practices and discussing the most important security challenges facing societies around the world. He pointed out that the success of the summit is embodied in its ability to unify global efforts and come up with uniform recommendations that contribute to developing police work, and are adopted as reference models in the world, indicating that many of these recommendations are actually applied, whether within the Dubai Police or through cooperation with international partners. Al -Obaidli reviewed a number of leading technical experiences, among them the “Eyes Program”, which is one of the most prominent Dubai police projects in the field of artificial intelligence, and contributed to accelerating crime detection, accessing accident sites, and developing patrol performance and smart centers.
He stressed that the Dubai Police adopts accurate global performance indicators that include various sectors, such as traffic, criminal research, crime detection, artificial intelligence, and the security index, explaining that they qualified them to achieve the first place in the Ministry of Interior Awards and the Dubai Government Excellence Program.
He stressed that the UAE, thanks to the visions and directives of its rational leadership, continues to lead international indicators in security and safety, pointing out that one of the specialized studies classified the UAE as the first country globally in women’s sense of safety, which is an achievement that reflects the effectiveness of the security system, the efficiency of the human element, and the integration of approved technical solutions.
For his part, Lieutenant Khalifa Al -Faqai, head of the executive office of the summit, stressed that the event constitutes a qualitative shift in terms of content and participation, as it focuses on vital axes that include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and educating individuals about modern preventive methods to combat crime, indicating that these axes come a direct response to the current security challenges.
He explained that the exhibition accompanying the summit is witnessing a wide participation of major international companies, which displays the latest technologies in the fields of monitoring, monitoring and advanced security solutions, which opens horizons for exchanging experiences between the participating authorities.
