This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Transport’s plan to completely develop the first line by updating all systems and moving units, as the French side was contracted to supply 55 new air -conditioning trains for the line and contract with the Spanish side to rehabilitate 23 trains of the line, and a national company was contracted to implement a Tora workshop to become able to absorb the new trains that will be supplied to the line, in addition to that it has been contracted with an alliance Egyptian/French/Japanese to carry out the work of developing signaling, communications, central control systems, railway work, electromechanical business and electrical powers, & nbsp;
