Etihad Airways expanded its American network with flights to North Carolina

Abu Dhabi, May 16/ WAM/ Etihad Airways announced a new addition to its growing American network by launching direct flights to Charlotte, North Carolina, starting from May 4, 2026, to become Etihad Airways the first airline from the region to run direct flights to Charlotte, which enhances the link between the UAE and the United States.
The new service will link Abu Dhabi to one of the most vital financial and cultural centers in America, allowing travelers more access to the World Union Network.
Charlotte will become the sixth destination of the Union Airways in the United States, to join New York, Chicago, Washington, Boston and Atlanta, which will be launched on July 2, 2025, while this path will be operated on four weekly flights on Etihad Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Antonaldo Nevis, CEO of Etihad Air, said that Charlotte represents a strategic addition to Etihad Airback in the United States of America, as it allows direct access to one of the most dynamic and growing regions of the country, adding: “We are the first airline from our region to serve this market.”
