Suspended

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai decided to suspend the evaluation and school control operations in private schools in Dubai during the academic year 2025-2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop and support the quality of education in the emirate.

The decision includes all private schools, with the exception of new schools that have completed their third operating year, which will be subject to full school control operations for the first time.

The authority will continue to follow the performance of schools through school visits that focus on specific aspects related to the quality of education and continuous development, provided that these visits are determined based on the priorities of the education strategy 33 and the observations received from the school community.

The authority stressed the importance of schools continuing to conduct external standard assessments regularly to ensure academic progress for students, in addition to providing periodic updates through self -evaluation models.

“Private schools in Dubai continue to show high flexibility, innovation spirit and a firm commitment to students’ education and improve the quality of their lives, and the suspension of school control during the next academic year also allows an opportunity to think and enhance joint cooperation on the best ways to support the quality of education. Through the targeted visits and continuous interaction with schools, we ensure that Every child in Dubai has a high -quality education that is in line with the aspirations of our rational leadership and the education strategy 33.
