"Her Majesty".. Exhibition documenting the history of the press photo in Egypt within a week "Cairo for the image"
The activities of the fourth session of the Cairo image week (CPW) witnessed the launch of the Her Majesty & quot, which provides a rare visual documentation of the history of the press photo in Egypt, and also reviews more than 80 years of photographic coverage of the different events in the country’s history. & quot; Arts Space Access & quot; Under the slogan & quot; Discover the scene & quot;, organized by the Foundation & quot & quot; The care of the ministries of tourism and culture and the Tourism Activation Authority. a group of senior photographers, among them: (Abdel Wahab Al -Sahiti, Hossam Diab, Makram Jad Al -Karim), along with foreign photographers and documented Egypt during the seventies and eighties of the last century. The exhibition is to provide a visual experience closer to the pages of the newspaper, where the images are displayed as live documents that embody the role of the camera in formulating public awareness, and are also displayed rare photos in sport and politics, in a visual demonstration in which international institutions such as (World Press Photo, (National Geographic) and (Getty Images).
