المملكة: After achieving the second place globally with 23 prizes .. Receiving the “Icev 2025” heroes tonight

The Saudi Science and Engineering team arrives at the homeland at exactly forty -five minutes of Monday evening, after achieving a historical achievement honored to win 23 international awards, to achieve second place in the world after the United States of America, at the Regeneeron International Science and Engineering Exhibition (ISF 2025).
The King Abdulaziz Foundation and its men for talent and creativity hold the “talent” of reception ceremonies a bus for the Saudi national team returning from this international scientific forum.
The reception will be held at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, specifically in the 5th Hall, at forty -seven and forty minutes in the evening, to celebrate this national achievement, which is added to the Kingdom’s record of successes in the scientific and innovative fields.

An exceptional performance for the national team

The Saudi national team, consisting of 40 male and female students, performed an exceptional performance with qualitative and distinguished projects in promising scientific fields during the exhibition competitions, whose copies of this year were held in Columbus, Ohio, USA, from 10 to 16 May.
The exhibition witnessed a wide participation of more than 1700 students representing more than 70 countries, which reflects the volume of competition and the importance of Saudi achievement.
The 23rd Kingdom Awards were distributed over 14 major prizes, including three awards in second place, five awards in third place, and six awards in fourth place, in addition to achieving nine special prizes.

The most prominent prizes

In the Great Awards, the student, Maryam Al -Muhaish, won the second place in the field of energy, and the two students, Areej Al -Qarni and Ja`bi, achieved the second place in the field of environmental engineering. As for the third place, it was the share of the student, Jumana Bilal, in the field of energy, the student Salman Al -Shehri and the student Lana Nuri in the field of transitional medical sciences, the student Lamia Al -Nafiei in the field of environmental engineering, and the student Fatima Al -Mutbakani in the field of plant science.
The list of winners of the fourth place in the Grand Awards included both the student Hanin Al -Hassan and the student Imran Al -Tarshastani in the field of energy, the two students Fatima Al -Arfaj and Misk Al -Mutairi in the field of chemistry, the student Abeer Al -Youssef in the field of material science, and the student Ghala Al -Ghamdi in the field of botanical science.

Special award category

In the category of special awards, the student Fatima Al -Arfaj in the field of chemistry, the student Areej Al -Qarni and the student Saleh Al -Anqari in the field of environmental engineering, and Abdul Rahman Al -Ghannam in the field of material science, and the student Sama Bukhamseen in the field of integrated systems. The student Imran Al -Tarshastani in the field of energy also achieved two special prizes, and the like, the student Lana Nuri in the field of transitional medical sciences won two special prizes, which confirms the excellence and diversity of Saudi projects.
The Kingdom, represented by the “Tahiba” Foundation and the Ministry of Education, is participating in the “Acef” exhibition annually since 2007, and with this new achievement the Kingdom’s balance of prizes in this global competition rises to 183 prizes, including 124 major prizes and 59 private prizes, which reflects successful investment in young and talented energies.
The “ISF” exhibition is the most important and largest international platform for research and innovative projects for pre -university students, where the posts are held by a group of international scientists and experts.
