In detail, a man of Arab nationality filed a civil lawsuit before the Dubai courts, in which he requested that the defendant be obligated to perform an amount of 300 thousand dirhams in compensation for the current and future material damage, the gains he missed, and the morale that resulted from the infringement of it, with a legal benefit 5% until the case is decided.

The prosecutor also asked to address the Rashid Hospital to obtain a certificate on the costs he bore about the future surgery that he will need after a year and a half to remove metal slices for them to be installed due to the accident and the attack, pointing out that the financial administration is initially capable of 45 thousand dirhams, but it refused to provide it with a certificate for the possibility of increasing the costs in the subsequent period, and estimating what follows the operations of a medical necessity such as medicine, radiology, residence, residences, and period The recovery, the duration of the leave that will be granted to him without pay.

He said in a statement of his claim that he was on the sidewalk and the defendant ran over his car, then he got off and attracted him from his clothes, and his arm, which led to an exacerbation of his injury, and a criminal communication was issued on the incident.

An eyewitness, accompanied by the victim, stated that she attended the incident, supported the latter’s account, and directed the Public Prosecution to the accused to commit the crime of attacking the safety of the body of others, and referred him to the court of penalty.

The prosecutor added that the Court of the Penalist issued an initial ruling against the accused, and he did not challenge him and became final and then resorted to the civil judiciary as a request for compensation, and submitted a support for his lawsuit a copy of the criminal ruling and the forensic report, and a friendly settlement between the two parties was not possible.
