Abu Dhabi, May 21 / WAM / Dr. Shamshir Faylail, founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of Bergel Holding, confirmed that the “Made in the Emirates 2025” initiative represents a strategic platform to provide effective local solutions to face global challenges, embody the spirit of innovation and responsibility, and provides a stimulating environment to launch creative ideas.

He said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the group is active in several African countries and was facing logistical difficulties in reaching some areas where the UAE is implementing prominent humanitarian projects, pointing out that to face these challenges, a joint project has been launched with the Abu Dhabi Ports Group under the name “Doctour”, based on converting containers into mobile medical units used as hospitals, which is innovation It aims to facilitate the delivery of health care to remote areas, as well as support for local economies by providing job opportunities for local competencies.

Faylail stressed that the “Doctor” project is a leading and innovative model that has been announced recently, and will create a qualitative shift in providing health care to those deprived of them in remote areas, especially in sub -Saharan Africa and regions facing humanitarian crises that hinder the arrival of basic medical services.

He expressed his deep appreciation for the wise leadership to provide this vital platform, which contributes to enhancing the local value within the country, confirming his aspiration to continue to support these initiatives and see their development during the coming years.

He pointed out that Burjeel began her career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and later expanded to produce “Car T” cells, which is an advanced technique in the field of immunotherapy for cancer.

For his part, Imran El -Khoury, a member of the Board of Directors of Bergel Holding, confirmed in a statement to “WAM”, the group’s pride in being part of the national industrial system, expressing his pride in a vision of an Emirati medical container standing in the middle of the sea, as a symbol of the ability of the Emirati industry to reach the most points.

He explained that this project reflects the commitment of Burjil Holding to expand its services to include various parts of the African continent, including North Africa, noting that strategic cooperation with Abu Dhabi Ports Company, under the umbrella of ADNOC, comes within the framework of a promising partnership signed to enhance mobile health services.

He stressed that this step constitutes an advanced model for integration between the health and logistical sectors, and emphasizes the common interests and the unified vision between Burjeel Holding and Abu Dhabi Ports, in a way that contributes to the establishment of the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation in humanitarian and development services.
