المملكة: “Hajj in health” .. King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah intensifies field awareness of a safe Hajj

King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah has activated his participation in the national campaign “Hajj in Health” implemented by the Ministry of Health, targeting the promotion of health culture among pilgrims and raising the level of societal readiness for the Hajj season, within the framework of the preventive and awareness efforts preceding the Hajj season.
The hospital implemented a series of awareness activities in a number of commercial complexes and vital sites in Jeddah Governorate, where the campaign included health and consulting pillars, through which medical teams provided pressure and sugar measurement services, direct consultations, and distribution of guidance publications, as well as broadcasting visual materials that explain the most important health behaviors to be followed.

Approved vaccinations

Health education focuses on the importance of taking approved vaccinations, following the preventive guidelines, and special precautions for patients with chronic diseases, in the forefront of which are diabetics and blood pressure, in order to ensure the safety of pilgrims and reduce any health complications during the performance of the rituals.
The hospital administration emphasized that this participation comes within the commitment of the Foundation to its role in supporting the initiatives of the Ministry of Health, and to enhance the safety of the guests of Rahman through awareness and early preventive intervention, in line with the goals of the “Hajj Health” program to ensure a healthy Hajj season.
