"Dubai for the future": Partnership with the Hamburg Chamber in various fields

Dubai, May 21 / WAM / The Dubai Future Foundation announced a new partnership with the Hamburg Chamber, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of innovation, future anticipation and artificial intelligence, exchange of expertise and advanced applications and support for startups and entrepreneurs in the UAE and Germany.
This partnership was announced during the participation of the Dubai Future Foundation in the “Dubai Business Forum” organized by the Dubai Chambers in Hamburg, with the aim of anticipating new economic opportunities and attracting companies and direct investments from Germany, which contributes to the consolidation of Dubai’s position as a global business destination in line with the targets of Dubai Economic Agency (D33).
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, and His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers.
The agreement aims to activate cooperation in a group of major axes, including developing knowledge exchange programs, organizing joint events, and exploring new opportunities in the areas of research and development.
The memorandum also includes opening new horizons for startups in both cities to take advantage of pioneering programs supporting these companies such as “Sandbox Dubai” and “Skaleup Hamburg”, as well as participating in global events such as “Dubai Future Forum” and “Future Economy Day” in Hamburg.
Alia Al Murr, head of the Dubai Future Transformation and Partnership Department, said: “This partnership with the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce represents an important station within the efforts of the Dubai Future Foundation to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global center for innovation and support for scientific research and development based on Dubai’s belief in the importance of the role of international partnerships in achieving a positive wealth on societies and economies.”
She added: “The research and industrial experiences of Hamburg are a reason for choosing a strategic partner to work together to design the future of various sectors of common concern, including support for startups, cognitive exchange, and designing new models for partnership in anticipating the future between the governmental and private sectors.”

We aim, through this cooperation with the Dubai Future Foundation, to enhance our partnership in the field of innovation and full benefit from the common capabilities and integrated innovation systems in the two cities,” said Dr. Malati Heine, General Manager of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
This partnership reflects the commitment of the Dubai Future Foundation to achieve the targets of building a flexible, diversified and sustainable knowledge economy in line with the Dubai Economic Agency D33, by strengthening international partnerships, and benefiting from global experiences in developing innovative business models and modern technological applications in various fields.
This type of agreement allows the linking of scientific research and future innovation systems between Dubai and leading global centers in it, including universities, research centers, and innovation institutions around the world.
In addition to this partnership, the Dubai Future Foundation held during its participation in the Dubai Business Forum in Hamburg several meetings with research and innovative institutions in Germany, including the Hamburg AI and Hamburg AI Fund, in addition to organizing a presentation on the “Sandbox Dubai” initiative, and organizing a dialogue session on the scene of the technological sector in Dubai and Hamburg.
