The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa launches a training program for journalists to enhance the professional coverage of religious and Fatwa issues

The Egyptian Dar Al -Iftaa announced the launch of an integrated training program targeting journalists and media professionals concerned with religious affairs, under the slogan: & quot; Professional media of the Rashid Fatid Fatwa speech & quot;, in the month of June at the Training Center at the Egyptian Fatwa House, within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian state aimed at correcting religious discourse and facing the chaos of fatwas.
& nbsp; This program comes in response to the increasing demand for developing the skills of colleagues interested in covering the religious and Fatwa affairs, especially after the approval of the Fatwa Law from the Egyptian Parliament, within the framework of the initiative to renew religious discourse, activate the role of the media responsible in building public awareness, and addressing the discourse of extremism and hatred spread on media platforms and communication sites Social.
& nbsp; & nbsp; The program extends for five consecutive days, during which the trainees deals with legal, professional, and technical axes, which include exercises on fatwas analysis, media dealing with sensitive issues, dialogue skills with religious personalities, and methods of verifying false religious news, in addition to applications in digital press and data journalism in the religious and intermediate field. & nbsp;
A group of senior scholars and specialists in religious media and intellectual security participates in the program, in cooperation with strategic partners from: the National Media Authority, the National Press Authority, the Journalists Syndicate, the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, and the General Secretariat for the role and advisory bodies in the world.
& nbsp; & Nbsp; Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayad – the Egyptian Diyar Mufti, Head of the General Secretariat of the role and extremism bodies in the world – that this program is a qualitative step towards building a professional religious media capable of keeping pace with societal and technical transformations, and establishes an institutional partnership between the Fatwa House and the press center, in a way that serves the national interest and protects society from the dangers of chaos and misleading. & nbsp;
At the conclusion of the program, the participants will be granted certificates of accreditation from Dar Al Iftaa, and it will announce the establishment of a permanent communication unit with the journalists involved in covering the religious issue to ensure the continuity of professional and intermediate support to them. & nbsp; & nbsp;
