The Minister of Health of Egypt and Sudan discuss aspects of joint cooperation

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, met Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, the Sudanese Minister of Health, to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the framework of the depth and interconnection of relations between Egypt, Sudan and extend bridges of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, on the sidelines of the activities of the 78th session of the World Health Assembly under the slogan & laquo; one scientist for health & raquo; Holding in the city of & laquo; Geneva & RAKUO; Switzerland.
& nbsp; The meeting dealt with discussing the joint cooperation files between the two sides, foremost of which is the research to reactivate the cooperation protocol signed between the two countries in 1970 regarding the fight against the mosquito & laquo; Gambia & raquo; A carrier of malaria, which is one of the priority health issues in Sudan, which was held in May last year, to discuss some technical points.
& nbsp; The meeting discussed the current health situation in Sudan in light of the current crisis, where Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar expressed his full solidarity with the Sudanese people and their willingness to continue providing all necessary support, in addition to working to enhance the capabilities of the Sudanese health system to respond to health and epidemics. The meeting touched on the opening of new cooperative horizons aimed at expanding the areas of training medical cadres through the exchange of experiences, and organizing joint training programs aimed at raising the efficiency of workers in the health sector, in a way that contributes to building sustainable capabilities, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of health systems. Health, reflecting the depth and durability of historical relations between Egypt and Sudan.
