Abdullah Al -Hamid holds bilateral meetings in New York with the leaders of institutions and media leaders in preparation for the “Bridge” summit

Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamid, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, held a series of bilateral meetings in New York with a number of institutions, companies, media and academic leaders.
These meetings come within the framework of preparing for the “Bridge Summit” in Abu Dhabi next December, strengthening international partnerships and expanding cooperation with international institutions, which contributes to enriching the content of the summit and consolidating its position is a leading platform for media dialogue.
The meetings witnessed fruitful discussions on the elaboration of an ambitious vision that enhances the professional sustainability of media institutions in the era of artificial intelligence and touched on how to devise models for media work that is compatible with the changing behaviors of the public.
Abdullah Al -Hamid stressed that the vision of the United Arab Emirates Media starts from a firm belief in turn a major partner in the process of sustainable development, and a tool for building bridges between various cultures, stressing the importance of concluding strategic partnerships that contribute to developing an advanced media model that keeps pace with global variables.
He added: “We believe that the media is a soft power that constitutes awareness and adopts bridges between peoples and cultures, and from this standpoint, we are keen to build partnerships with international media, technological and educational institutions, in order to transfer experiences and localize best practices in a way that enhances our media readiness for an accelerated and complex future.”
He stressed the continued work to consolidate an advanced model for the media through the Bridge summit based on innovation, and integration between sectors, in addition to enabling young competencies, and in a way that establishes “Bridge” a leading platform for the exchange of ideas and successful experiences in the positive impact industry.
