5 victories in the World Cup Football in Azerbaijan
Baku on May 23/ WAM/ The Chadian team won this evening, over its Romanian counterpart 4-2, in the first round of the mini soccer World Cup, currently held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, until the first of next June, to enhance his chances of reaching the round of 16, in the second group with 3 points before its last match against Uzbekistan next Sunday.
The Bahraini team lost to its Mauritanian counterpart with two clean goals in the first group, to remain with a point before its last match against Slovenia, while the Mauritania team raised its score to 4 points, competing to qualify.
The French and Uzbek teams tied 3-3, after a strong confrontation in the second group, to raise the French national team to 4 points, compared to a point for the Uzbek team, while the English team raised its score to 4 points after drawing against its Hungarian counterpart 1 – 1, to remain the latter with two points, within the third group.
The Bulgarian team achieved a wide victory over the Indian team by five clean, raising its score to 3 points in the fourth group, while the Indian team bid farewell to the championship with its second consecutive loss, and the Turkish team defeated its Ukrainian counterpart 3 – 1 in the third group, raising its score to 4 points, while the Ukraine team came out of the qualification accounts of its second loss in a row.
The Azerbaijan team climbed to the top of the first group with 4 points, with a goal difference, after its victory over its Slovenian counterpart, with a clean four, as the last round awaits him with the Mauritania team.
