He added that it is expected that, Wednesday, May 28, will be the beginning of the month of Dhu al -Hijjah and that Friday, June 6, the first day of the blessed Eid al -Adha in most Islamic countries.

In cities such as Amman and Jerusalem, the moon is absent after 48 minutes from the sunset and up to 14 hours and 46 minutes and moves away from the sun 8.4 degrees, and in Cairo after 47 minutes and at the age of 14 hours and 54 minutes and a corner of 8.5 degrees, while the crescent is absent in Rabat after 58 minutes and is 17 hours old and moves away from the sun 9.9 degrees and in these cities it may be possible to see the crescent with the naked eye but with difficulty and requires A great serenity in the atmosphere.
The International Astronomy Center explained that the numbers related to the age of the crescent and the duration of its stay are not sufficient alone to confirm the possibility of seeing it, as the vision is affected by other factors such as the angular dimension from the sun and the height of the horizon at the time of monitoring.
He indicated that the least registered for a crescent that could see him with the naked eye was 29 minutes and the lowest Omar Hilal was able to see him with the naked eye 15 hours and 33 minutes.
