47 competition winners" The pigeons threatened" Liwa International Festival
Al Dhafra, December 25 / WAM / The “Hadad Al-Hammam” competition concluded yesterday as part of the activities accompanying the Liwa International Festival 2026, with the participation of 100 contestants from all categories.
The competitions resulted in the victory of 47 participants after strong competitive performances that were subject to precise criteria for evaluation in accordance with the approved conditions for the scheduled competitions.
The organizing committee confirmed that holding the competitions over two days contributed to the participation of the largest number of competitors, and provided an integrated organizational experience, which strengthened the presence of this traditional sport on the festival’s agenda.
On the other hand, the Liwa Drift Racing competitions in the car category will start over the course of Friday and Saturday, in the Tal Mereb area, with the participation of elite professional and amateur drivers.
The competitions include free trials, qualifying rounds, and final elimination matches, with drivers exchanging driving and chasing roles.
