The opening of the forum was attended by Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad, Mohamed Ould Khaled, Minister of Oil, Zainab Bint Ahmed Minister of Trade and Tourism, Zine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers, Dr. Sherif Al-Jabali, Chairman of the African Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives and President of the Chamber of Chemical Industries of the Federation of Industries and the representative of the General Union of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce at the Egyptian-Mauritanian Economic Forum.
