Committee"Federal National" The government policy is discussed on organizing the statistical sector

Abu Dhabi, May 28/ WAM/ The Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, during its meeting held by His Excellency Saeed Rashid Al -Abedi, Chairman of the Committee, discussed today, Wednesday, the subject of the government’s policy regarding the organization of the statistical sector and open data and the promotion of state competitiveness.

The meeting was attended by members of the committee, His Excellency Khaled Omar Al -Kharji, the committee’s decision, Dr. Tariq Hamid Al -Tayer, First Vice -President of the Council, Aisha Rashid Litem, Mona Khalifa Hammad, Mira Sultan Al Suwaidi, members of the Federal National Council.

During its meeting, the committee reviewed the parliamentary study prepared by the research team in the General Secretariat of the Council, according to the axes of the general topic, which are: Policies and Strategies to regulate the statistical sector and open data, and the legislation regulating the statistical sector and open data.
