Abu Dhabi, May 30/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Quality and Construction Council, in cooperation with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, announced the postponement of the official application of the “Dietary Gallery” initiative, which was scheduled to be applied in June 2025, to the fourth quarter of the same year.
This joint decision is an affirmation of the commitment of both sides to support food manufacturers, retail dealers, health professionals and organizational bodies, by giving them enough time to adapt production methods and amend food products formulas, ensuring effective and sustainable application of the initiative according to the required “nutritional” criteria.
The initiative was widely welcomed by the industrial sector, as many companies representatives expressed their willingness to contribute to the success of the “nutritional brand” and adopting its concepts, considering this initiative a valuable tool that enhances transparency and supports innovation in the development of products, as well as the increasing demand of consumers on healthy food options, and this delay provides more time to enhance cooperation and develop effective executive mechanisms In agreement with the needs of the sector.
