"JC-39 Committee" On its fifth day, technical topics are discussed in the field of research and rescue

Abu Dhabi, May 31 / WAM / The Joint Committee “JC -39” affiliated to the Cosbus system – Sarsat meets its meetings for the fifth consecutive day, within an agenda that focuses on developing the technical and operational structure of the satellite search and rescue system, with the wide participation of international experts and actors.
Today’s sessions were opened with a detailed discussion on activating the “DT” emergency transmission transmission devices, which are the devices used in emergency situations on board the aircraft.
The deliberations focused on automatic activity challenges, and the mechanisms of improving the system response to these signals in order to enhance the speed and accuracy of the location.

Specialized work teams held a number of parallel sessions that dealt with accurate operational and technology, the most prominent of which is the “OWG” operating team meeting to review operational operations documents, which are the reference basis for field response procedures and the treatment of communications received from the beacons.
The technical team “Twg” held separate sessions that first discussed the beacons that are not affiliated with the FGB & SGB NON-Twc Beacons, where the challenges related to the locations of the signals coming from these groups and proposals for their processing were reviewed.
The work teams also touched on the adoption of “Lut Commissioning”, a basic step to ensure the quality and accuracy of the satellite satellites.
The sessions also included an advanced review of the “Space Segment Commissioning” adoption plans, which aim to enhance the integration of the system between the Earth and modern satellites.
These specialized sessions reflect the extent of the commitment of states and organizations member of the Cosbas-Marzat system to develop the infrastructure of the global rescue system, ensuring the highest levels of readiness and response to emergency situations around the world.
