The Russian Grapevin leads the Dubai Open Chess Championship

Dubai, June 1/ WAM/ The great Russian international professor Alexei Grapevin, the first category (A) competitions in the 25th edition of the Dubai Open Chess Championship, is currently held at the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, with the conclusion of the fifth round with 4.5 points out of 5 games.
Grapevin won an important victory over his counterpart, the great Indian international professor Bahrath, at the second table, while the confrontation of the summit on the first table ended with a tie between the first ranked, the great Indian international professor Nihal Sirin, and the title of the last edition, the great international professor Azerbaijani Muhammad Muradli, raising the balance of each of them to 4 points.
The same balance was equal to the Indian international professor Rohath Krishna, Armenian Sargsian Shant, and the Iranian Moghur Sina, to intensify the competition for the top of the arrangement as the decisive roles are approaching.
In the second category (B) competitions, the Iranian International Federation Professor Mahdi Nikokar was unique in the lead, achieving the full mark (5 out of 5), after winning in the fifth round against the Indian Fendan Al Nakar, whose balance was frozen at 4 points.
